About the Role
As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you will be a vital part of our success by supporting the store leadership team. This role exists to bridge the gap between daily operations and the unique needs of our customer base. You will use your deep fandom knowledge to train new recruits, ensuring their success while supporting the management team in meeting sales targets.
Your day will involve stepping in and stepping up to cover the sales floor, providing leadership support when the Manager is pulled away, and managing store opening and closing procedures. You will process sales transactions, leveraging your product knowledge to drive add-on sales through services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Beyond the register, you will assist with planogram changes, communicate fashion and music trends to HQ, and help maintain a tidy, organized stock room. Ultimately, you will help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store alongside you.
