About the Role
The Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business, dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This role is for someone trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products and services, and managed vision care. The Senior Optical Specialist personally guides the patient or customer through the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way.
In this position, you will engage with patients to recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs, measure them for eyewear, and troubleshoot any needs as necessary. You will maintain product and optical knowledge through continuous training to ensure eyewear is 'Right the First Time.' As a Lead, you will also execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals, including opening and closing the store as needed.
