About the Role
The Outpatient Infusion RN serves as a vital link in our healthcare continuum, providing both direct and indirect nursing care within the outpatient infusion unit. This role is designed for a nurse who thrives on comprehensive patient assessment and collaborative care. You will utilize the nursing process to manage pre- and post-procedure care, applying critical thinking to prioritize patient needs and ensure safe, effective treatment delivery.
Day-to-day, you will be the face of our infusion department, managing the administration of medications and solutions while maintaining strict adherence to hospital policies. Your expertise in technical nursing skills, such as IV line insertion and maintenance, ensures patients receive the highest standard of care. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in patient safety and education, identifying risks and empowering patients and families with the knowledge they need to manage their care plans effectively.
Success in this position requires strong interpretive skills to assess patient conditions, monitor treatment responses, and support clinical decision-making. You will frequently interact with patients, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and safe care delivery.

Requirements
- verifiedRN - Registered Nurse
- verifiedGraduate of an accredited nursing school
- verifiedBLS - Basic Life Saving certification
- verifiedACLS or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
