About the Role

BAI Imaging is a non-hospital-based outpatient treatment center specializing in clinical and research MRI and PET scanning. In this role, you will operate complex MRI scanners, utilizing strong magnets and radio waves to create detailed internal body images for physicians. Your focus will be on patient safety, proper positioning, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic scans.\n Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients, conducting daily equipment checks, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating closely with radiologists. You will perform prescribed procedures in accordance with department policies, educate patients and families regarding treatments, and maintain accurate documentation. Additionally, you will ensure the efficient operation of department workflow and maintain adequate inventory levels to prevent service interruptions.

Schedule and Coverage

Our imaging center operates from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. MRI technologist shifts typically range from 10 to 12 hours, depending on patient volume. Following training, the primary need is coverage on Thursdays and Fridays from approximately 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with additional shifts available as needed. This role is designed to provide coverage for PTO, callouts, and occasional extended absences. Please note that there are no on-call or weekend requirements at this facility.
