About the Role
American Ambulance Central Florida is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Paramedic to join our team in Central Florida. In this role, you will serve as a critical first responder, providing both emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations. You will work in conjunction with partners to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients, utilizing advanced driving judgment to prioritize public safety during unit operation and positioning.
Your day-to-day responsibilities involve responding to all assigned calls with a focus on rapid scene assessment and appropriate resource allocation. You will deliver comprehensive patient care ranging from Basic Life Support (BLS) to Advanced Life Support (ALS), including patient assessment, packaging, and transport. Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain thorough medical records, ensure equipment is clean and fully operational, and uphold professional standards in your interactions with colleagues, hospitals, and the public.
