Paramedic PER DIEM, Day Only

About the Role

American Ambulance Central Florida is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Paramedic to join our team in Central Florida. In this role, you will serve as a critical first responder, providing both emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations. You will work in conjunction with a partner to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients, utilizing your advanced life support (ALS) skills to assess scenes, diagnose conditions, and deliver appropriate care in accordance with established protocols.

As a member of our crew, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of patient care, from initial assessment and packaging to transport and handover. Your day will involve responding to a variety of calls with sound driving judgment and a strong regard for public safety. Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain the ambulance and equipment in a clean, organized, and ready condition, ensuring all fuel, fluid, and tire levels are optimal. You will also manage medical records and transportation reports while maintaining professional relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a Per Diem position offering a rate of $32 per hour. The role is scheduled for Day Shift with a maximum of 24 hours per week.
