The Division of Palliative Medicine operates within this integrated environment, collaborating with the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the School of Medicine. The team is currently expanding its footprint with a newly approved Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, fostering a culture where academic and community physicians work side-by-side at the new Academic Medical Center at Bergan Mercy.
We seek a visionary leader to serve as the Chief of Palliative Medicine, tasked with expanding clinical, research, and educational activities within the Division. This role is designed for a leader who will oversee the growth of established programs and manage the expansion of the Division across all affiliated hospital sites.
In this academic and teaching environment, you will educate Creighton University's palliative fellows, residents, and medical students. The Chief will lead the development of research and scholarly initiatives while recruiting new faculty to strengthen the team. Reporting directly to the Chair of Medicine at Creighton University and CHI Health, you will drive the division's strategic direction while utilizing electronic medical records via EPIC.
