This position is designed for a motivated individual ready to make an impact by completing the painting and basic assembly of products manufactured at our Clare, MI location. You will be responsible for applying paint to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, as well as assembling various products ranging from simple components like Z-legs to more complex items under the guidance of senior staff.
You will work in an active, fast-paced environment where you will read work orders or blueprints to determine the sequence of painting. Your day will involve preparing surfaces by removing rust and imperfections, placing products on the paint line with proper spacing to ensure safe travel, and examining finished surfaces to verify conformance to specifications. Additionally, you will assist with color changes, perform weekly department maintenance, and record labor and downtime for each work order.
