About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU RN to deliver exceptional post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced surgical recovery setting. In this role, you will monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, manage pain and airways, respond quickly to changes in condition, and coordinate safe discharge or transfer. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the PACU
- check_circleContinuously assess, monitor, and document vital signs, pain, and level of consciousness
- check_circleManage airways, oxygen therapy, IV lines, and hemodynamic stability
- check_circleAdminister and titrate pain medications and sedation per orders and protocols
- check_circleRespond rapidly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency interventions
- check_circleCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members
- check_circleEducate patients and families on post-op care, pain control, and discharge instructions
- check_circleMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
Requirements
