Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Endoscopy, PACU, and Pre-Op units within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. This leadership position is vital to ensuring the delivery of excellent perioperative care, serving as the bridge between clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will oversee day-to-day clinical and operational leadership, coordinating safe and timely patient flow through pre-operative, procedural, and post-anesthesia phases. You will mentor and develop a high-performing RN team, fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and continuous learning. Your work will involve close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary partners to optimize case scheduling and drive process improvements that enhance the patient experience.
Ideal candidates bring strong clinical expertise in perioperative nursing, a passion for patient-centered care, and a proven track record in leadership. You will be responsible for maintaining competency in critical areas such as patient assessment, airway and hemodynamic monitoring, and pain management, while also leading quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives.
