Key Responsibilities
- check_circleEnsure availability of necessary equipment and supplies for patient procedures
- check_circleReview patient charts for completeness prior to surgery
- check_circleAdminister pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed
- check_circleConduct complete physical and psychological assessments of patients
- check_circleMonitor patients until they are transferred to the operating room
- check_circlePrepare patients' care areas adequately before surgical cases
Requirements
- verifiedGraduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of experience in a PACU or ICU setting
- verifiedActive RN license as required by state of employment
- verifiedValid BCLS Certification upon employment (online not acceptable)
- verifiedACLS required
