This position serves as a central coordinator for the full lifecycle of assigned projects, spanning pre-construction, bidding, construction, and close-out phases. The role exists to ensure that complex commercial and public/educational facility projects meet the District's qualitative standards while maintaining strict adherence to budget and schedule constraints.
In this capacity, you will manage daily contractor activities, review submittals and change orders, and coordinate with public agencies, architects, and internal staff. A key aspect of the role involves preparing status reports for upper management and administering professional service agreements. You will also oversee project close-out procedures, including certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) and financial reconciliation.

Design Build Experience. Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM). Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS). Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes. Safety and OSHA Safety Regulations (OSHA 30 minimum). A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI).
