About the Role
This position is for an Owner Operator focused on local, dedicated, Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) intermodal container transport. The role involves operating a commercial vehicle to transport non-hazardous materials, adhering strictly to DOT and company guidelines.
In this day-to-day capacity, you will interact positively with company personnel, customers, and the general public. Key operational duties include driving up to 11 hours per day, completing Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs as required, and attending safety meetings as deemed necessary. The position is designed for drivers who prefer a day shift with no driver load or unload responsibilities.
Hiring Requirements
Candidates must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) without specific restrictions (L, Z, G, O, K, or V) and have at least three years of tractor-trailer experience. A valid Medical Exam is also required. The truck used must be no older than 15 years, and overdimensional trucks are not permitted.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a gross total weekly average pay of $5,000 - $6,500, paid weekly, with an average of 1,200 - 2,500 miles per week. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available, and drivers receive a paid fuel surcharge. A lease purchase program is available for eligible candidates.
Home Time
Drivers can expect to be home every weekend.
