About the Role
Join Ford Storage for a rewarding career in the ever-expanding delivery field. We are looking for Final Mile Delivery Contractors and Employee Drivers to execute white-glove, full-service deliveries into customers' homes and businesses in the Greater Kansas City area and up to 250 miles.
No other 3PL company in the nation has a better understanding of how important it is to have management, independent owner-operators (contractors), and employees working side by side to achieve great success with in-home deliveries. We offer multiple levels of employment and delivery loads available seven days a week. Equipped trucks that exceed DOT requirements are on-site and ready to be leased for independent contractors.
This role is a great stepping stone for those who aspire to get started as an independent contractor in the 3PL field. Whether you are an experienced driver or just starting out, we offer opportunities for anyone with a strong work ethic and personal drive. You can hire on with or without experience, and as an independent owner-operator, you can enjoy the opportunity and pride of being your own boss while still having the support of a larger organization.
Hiring Process
Interested candidates must meet specific qualifications, including being 23+, having a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and a clean background (no felonies within the last 7 years or record of theft). All drivers must meet DOT Physical requirements and complete the company-issued driver safety training course.
