As an Inbound Expert within the General Merchandise and Food Sales team, you will be an expert in operations, process, and efficiency. Your mission is to enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. You will lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas.
No two days are ever the same in this fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role. A typical day involves executing detailed sorting operations, stocking and organizing reserve product, and maintaining product availability on the sales floor. You will operate powered equipment to unload freight, process defective merchandise, and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws. Additionally, you will support guest services by acting as a backup cashier, handling order pickups, and assisting with Drive-Up services, all while greeting guests with a welcoming attitude and helping solve their specific needs.
Success in this role requires teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem-solving. You will work both independently and as part of a team to resolve guest questions quickly and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. You will also demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others.
