About the Role

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will drive growth by developing new prospects and nurturing relationships with established customers. This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in the field, regularly interacting with clients at their business sites or other off-location settings to promote and sell Company products.

You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding annual gross margin budgets within your assigned territory while adhering to pricing policies. Beyond sales, you will serve as a key liaison for customer satisfaction, handling complaints promptly and reporting potential claims. You will also keep management informed on local competition and market conditions, carry out sales and merchandise programs, and recommend new items for stock. The role involves maintaining accurate customer records, assisting in the collection of past-due accounts, and demonstrating products post-sale when necessary.

This position requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes. Graybar supports eligible drivers through a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program, allowing you to choose and drive your own vehicle while building equity over time. Please note that certain vehicle requirements, such as age and original MSRP, may impact eligibility for tax-free reimbursement.
