About the Role
The Outpatient RN CAP 1 position serves as an entry-level designation within the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). As a vital member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) healthcare team, you will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients. This role involves the full nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation—while collaborating with physicians, the interdisciplinary team, and direct patient care staff to ensure safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.
In this capacity, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, and quality improvement activities designed to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations. You will act as a resource for the healthcare team, assisting in the orientation of new staff and supporting patients and families through education on treatment modalities and transplant options.
