The Outpatient RN CAP 1 position serves as an entry-level designation within the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). As a vital member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) healthcare team, you will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients. This role is designed to foster professional growth while ensuring the safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy.
In this capacity, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, and leadership functions that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, including transplant awareness. The position also involves mentoring and guiding direct patient care staff, such as Patient Care Technicians and LPNs/LVNs, to maintain high standards of nursing practice.
Candidates are expected to complete all Fresenius Kidney Care education and training requirements for new employees. Advancement within the CAP program requires the successful completion of specific CAP requirements.
