About the Role
We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) Internal Medicine physicians to join our expanding Department of Internal Medicine. Whether you are interested in a clinical or academic position, you will join a team that adheres to a high standard of excellence, leveraging evidence-based medicine, innovative technologies, and clinical research. Our goal is to transform healthcare across the state through our clinically integrated network, the Prisma Health Network.
You will work within practices that are accredited Patient Centered Medical Homes, benefiting from a centralized call center, nursing triage, and access to Pharm D's and Behavioral Health at each location. The role offers the opportunity to utilize digital health services and remote patient monitoring for chronic disease management, all supported by a unified Epic EMR system. Physicians will also have the chance to collaborate with medical students and residents, contributing to the training of future healthcare leaders.

Our practices are strategically located near hospitals and specialty practices, with a primary focus in Columbia, the state capital. Columbia offers a diverse population and a large selection of cultural amenities, driven by the University of South Carolina's 30,000 students. The city features an affordable cost of living, good schools, a revitalized downtown, and a nationally ranked zoo and children's museums. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the area provides access to rivers, 650 miles of Lake Murray shoreline, and state and national parks within a 30-minute drive.
