About the Team
The Regional Center for Infectious Disease (RCID) is the largest infectious disease practice in Guilford County, North Carolina. Our collaborative, quality-driven team consists of six physicians and two nurse practitioners dedicated to delivering pure infectious disease care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. We pride ourselves on combining clinical excellence with innovation, research, and education in a highly collegial environment.
RCID serves as a proud Ryan White HIV/AIDS Clinic (Parts B, C, and D funding) and an ACTG Integral Clinical Research Site. We actively conduct pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials and maintain a strong multidisciplinary support system to remove barriers for both patients and providers.
About the Role
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in the Greensboro/Triad area. This position focuses exclusively on outpatient care, offering a 1:6 weekend call schedule with a Monday through Friday primary schedule.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach Internal Medicine residents and pharmacy students on ID rotations. You will collaborate closely with infection prevention and antibiotic stewardship teams, contributing to testing stewardship and HAI prevention efforts. The position is ideal for those looking to engage in research and clinical trials while working within a practice that values expertise and real-world impact.
