About the Role

As a Sonographer at Williamson Health, you will provide high-quality ultrasound procedures to patients and physicians in a respectful, efficient, and safe environment. This role operates within a multi-modality imaging department, performing diagnostic sonography that includes breast ultrasound, breast biopsy, OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, and pelvic studies.

You will be part of a team that values your talents and seeks to expand your skillset. The position requires the ability to perform multifunctional tasks, from operating complex equipment to assisting with patient movement and making critical judgment decisions in urgent situations. You will explain procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the process, and utilize your knowledge of anatomy and disease processes to accurately communicate pathology to Radiologists.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be graduates of an approved ultrasound school and hold ARDMS accreditation. While specific equipment training is provided by Williamson Health, we prefer candidates with at least one year of post-graduation work experience. Successful candidates will complete BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
