About the Role
As a Sonographer at Williamson Health, you will provide high-quality ultrasound procedures to patients and physicians in a respectful, efficient, and safe environment. This role operates within a multi-modality imaging department, performing diagnostic sonography that includes breast ultrasound, breast biopsy, OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, and pelvic studies. You will utilize your knowledge of anatomy and disease processes to accurately communicate patient pathology to Radiologists while ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
In this position, you will be responsible for checking patient identification and physician orders to ensure accuracy before proceeding. You will explain procedures to patients prior to exams to address questions or concerns, demonstrating emotional stability and psychological health in your daily interactions with patients, families, and colleagues. You will also be expected to assist in the movement of patients, operate equipment, and make appropriate judgment decisions in urgent or emergency situations.

Requirements
