About the Role
As a Sonographer at Williamson Health, you will provide high-quality ultrasound procedures to patients and physicians in a respectful, efficient, and safe environment. This role operates within a multi-modality imaging department, performing diagnostic sonography that includes breast ultrasound, breast biopsy, OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, and pelvic studies.
You will be responsible for explaining procedures to patients prior to exams, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and disease processes to accurately communicate pathology to Radiologists, and ensuring the working environment remains clean, organized, and well-stocked. This position requires the ability to perform multifunctional tasks, including the physical manipulation of equipment and assisting patients with mobility, while maintaining emotional stability and making appropriate judgment decisions in urgent situations.
