In this position, you will provide high-quality ultrasound procedures to patients and physicians in a respectful, efficient, and safe environment. You will perform diagnostic sonography, including breast ultrasound and breast biopsy, within a multi-modality setting that covers general sonography, OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, and pelvic studies. This role requires the ability to perform multifunctional tasks, from operating equipment to assisting with patient movement, while making appropriate judgment decisions in urgent situations. You will be responsible for explaining procedures to patients, ensuring accurate patient identification, and communicating pathology professionally to Radiologists.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved ultrasound school and subsequently accredited through ARDMS. While specific equipment training will be provided by Williamson Health, preference is given to those with at least one year of work experience post-graduation and accreditation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire.
