The Outlet Ambassador serves as the primary point of contact for guests at the Longboard Club, ensuring timely, courteous service and guest satisfaction. This role is designed to elevate the guest experience within the vibrant, indoor-outdoor luxury setting of the all-new Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. Every space at the resort has been envisioned by the award-winning design firm Rockwell Group, creating an oasis of tranquility in the heart of Waikiki.
As an Ambassador, you will immerse yourself in the resort's unique culture, which is proudly named in honor of Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarch of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Her spirit, infused into the resort, shares the same privileged location as her beachside home, Keʻalohilani (meaning "the royal brightness").
In this position, you will manage your station from opening to closing, including side work and general maintenance. A key component of the role involves providing in-depth knowledge of the specialty wine and cheese program, assisting guests with the wine cruvinet system, and servicing the PM cheese cart. You will also support guests with general folio inquiries and ensure the cleanliness of the club, including clearing tables and replenishing towels. The role requires a friendly, warm demeanor and the ability to anticipate guest needs to maximize satisfaction.
Candidates must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages according to local state laws and must obtain a Liquor Commission Card prior to the first day of training. Please ensure you have a strong foundation in fromage and current cheese offerings, as well as experience in high-volume cocktail or full restaurant service.
