About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Support, this position serves as the strategic hub for the hotel's procurement and supply chain operations. The role exists to ensure the seamless flow of materials, equipment, and services required to maintain hotel standards while driving cost efficiency and vendor compliance. You will lead a team dedicated to optimizing purchasing activities, managing inventory systems, and fostering strong relationships with both internal departments and external suppliers.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a dynamic mix of strategic oversight and operational execution. You will lead the purchasing team, providing training and performance management while supervising all procurement activities to ensure strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to managing the receipt of incoming products, verifying quality, weight, quantity, and temperature, and ensuring timely closure of purchase orders.
You will act as the primary liaison with the Group Procurement Manager (Entegra) to maximize vendor usage and negotiate with non-group suppliers to ensure they meet service and safety standards. Collaboration is key; you will attend BEO meetings for large groups, coordinate with department leaders to anticipate demand, and work closely with the Chef and F&B Director to analyze food and beverage costs against sales.
Beyond procurement, you will chair daily pre-shift and monthly department meetings, track F&B purchases, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Your leadership extends to training Receiving Clerks and Storekeepers, maintaining productivity goals, and upholding the brand's high standards for personal appearance and guest service.
