About the Role
As a Company Driver (W2, Solo) on our OTR Dry Van team, you will handle dedicated line-haul accounts with no driver load or unload duties. Depending on your specific area, you can expect to be home weekly to every two weeks. The role offers a schedule where you get three days of home time for every 14 days worked, ensuring you are home at least two weekends per month.
While HazMat certification is sought after, if you do not currently possess it, Styer will require you to obtain it within 90 days and will cover the cost. Drivers can look forward to a pay structure that averages an additional $0.05 per mile above base pay, with benefit pay averaging an additional $0.07 per mile. Additionally, you will receive a $66 per day per diem for each day away from your domicile, a monthly safety bonus, and weekly pay.
Our trucks are equipped with modern amenities to keep you comfortable on the road, including Sirius Radio, APU's with inverters, and a pet and rider-friendly policy. We also offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
Hiring Process
To join our team, applicants must hold a Class A license without restrictions (specifically no L, Z, O, or Air Brakes restrictions) and possess at least 12 months of tractor-trailer experience. Once hired, you will be enrolled in a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401K with company match. We also provide paid holidays and paid vacation.
