About Our Unit
Our Orthopedic nursing team provides compassionate, specialized care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. We care for those undergoing total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and trauma-related surgeries, as well as patients recovering from gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and other medical-surgical procedures. Working closely with therapy services, we create a supportive environment that promotes rehabilitation, mobility, and independence.
As Mercy's Innovation Unit, we pilot new ideas and technologies to enhance workflow, improve care, and elevate the patient experience—offering every caregiver the chance to help shape the future of nursing.
