About the Team

Kaiser Permanente Central Valley is part of The Permanente Medical Group, a physician-led organization dedicated to leading the future of health care. Our Central Valley service area is nestled between the Cascade, Sierra Nevada, and Tehachapi mountains to the east, and the California coastal ranges and San Francisco Bay Area to the west. This region is a premier outdoor recreational destination, offering mountain and road biking, kayaking, and boarding on numerous lakes and rivers, alongside pristine hiking trails and camping in nearby California State and National Parks.

Our Modesto team currently consists of 11 surgeons, including two dedicated hand surgeons, three total joint specialists, three sports medicine physicians, and two surgeons splitting their time between trauma and joint or sports medicine. The team operates with a robust multi-specialty support structure, featuring Medical Assistants, Surgical Coordinators, Care Coordinators, and 14 Physician Assistants. All surgeons share call responsibilities, ensuring a collaborative environment without a separate hand call schedule.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Hand Orthopedic Surgeon to join our Modesto practice. This position offers a flexible schedule and places you on a pathway to partnership within the group. You will work alongside a supportive team focused on providing excellent patient care without the burden of managing overhead and billing. Our practice utilizes AI-based charting and an outstanding electronic medical record system to ensure flexibility in patient management.
