About the Role
We are a private optometry practice located in South Miami/Kendall seeking a dedicated Full-Time Optical Salesperson and Optometric Technician. This unique position requires a self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking.
You will serve as the bridge between clinical care and customer service. Your day will involve guiding patients through eyeglass frame and lens selection, handling dispensing and repairs, and managing vision plan authorizations and benefits. Beyond the optical floor, you will be a vital part of the front desk, answering phones and scheduling appointments.
As part of our cross-trained team, you will also function as an optometric technician, pretesting patients using advanced equipment such as autorefractors, NCT, autolensometers, OCT, and Optos. Familiarity with Officemate and Examwriter is a bonus, though we value your adaptability and willingness to learn our specific workflows.
Schedule
Our office operates on a hybrid schedule to accommodate patient needs:
- Monday: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:15 AM – 1:30 PM
