We are seeking a Full Time Operations Associate to join our Medical ICU team at the Baystate Main Campus in Springfield, MA. Reporting to the Nurse Manager with daily coordination by the charge nurse, you will work directly with patient and family-centered care teams to ensure all business functions related to processing patient information and managing documentation run smoothly.
In this role, you will act as a vital hub for unit operations. You will facilitate bed management and patient throughput, process direct admissions, and serve as the primary receptionist for visitors. Your day will involve coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers (ADTs), communicating with medical staff and ancillary departments, and ensuring patient records are organized and accurate. You will also serve as a resource for hospitalist teams, assisting with clinical rounds and maintaining workspace logistics. This position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compassion.
