As a Medical Assistant at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care. You will be accountable for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting, addressing both acute and chronic needs. This position involves communicating clearly with patients through various modalities, including telephone and in-person interactions, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Schedule & Location
This role is based at the McKay-Dee Medical Building in Ogden, Utah. The position requires 40 scheduled weekly hours with flexible shift options:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- OR Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with Friday: 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Requirements
- verifiedSuccessful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or one year of Medical Assistant Experience or has a current RN/LPN license
- verifiedCurrent Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- verifiedDemonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry
- verifiedAbility to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients
- verifiedExperience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting
- verifiedComputer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- verifiedCurrent national MA certification (RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or CMA)
Nice to Have
Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting. Computer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software. Current national MA certification from one of the following: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) of AMT, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) of the AAMA.
