St. Luke's is proud of the skills, experience, and compassion of its employees, who are our most valuable asset. Individually and together, our team is dedicated to satisfying the organization's mission: an unwavering commitment to excellence as we care for the sick and injured, educate physicians and nurses, and improve access to care in the communities we serve. This commitment extends to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay for health care.
The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients across outpatient and Emergency Department locations within the St. Luke's University Health Network. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless patient experience, from the moment a patient arrives to the accurate submission of claims for services rendered.
In this position, you will manage the entire scope of the registration process. Your day involves correctly identifying patients, transcribing orders, verifying insurance, and handling point-of-service cash collections. You will act as a liaison between clinical departments, revenue cycle teams, and provider offices to ensure clean claim submissions and payment integrity. The role also includes promoting patient engagement through the MyChart portal and assisting patients with self-service technologies like Welcome Kiosks and On My Way.
As a representative of the network, you will greet patients and visitors with friendly, courteous service while monitoring facility policies. You may occasionally travel between campuses or regional locations to support cross-training needs in both outpatient and Emergency Department areas.
To apply, please complete your application using your full legal name and current home address. Be sure to include your employment history for the past seven years, including your present employer. We encourage you to upload a current resume detailing all work history, education, and any applicable certifications or licenses. It is highly recommended that you create a profile upon submitting your first application.
