The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Clinical Research Support Office (CRSO). This team is dedicated to supporting the OnCore Clinical Trials Management System across the University campus, ensuring that the research community has the tools and knowledge necessary to conduct high-quality clinical trials.
The OnCore Training and Education Specialist serves as a subject matter expert for OnCore and related systems, including eReg, Participant Payments, and Epic. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, planning, documentation, and delivery of comprehensive training programs. Your work will ensure user proficiency and adoption of these critical systems.
You will partner with department leadership to assess evolving training needs, selecting appropriate programs and delivery methods to keep educational content current and effective. The day-to-day involves designing digital and in-person instructional materials, conducting system testing for upgrades, and providing technical support and workflow optimization for end-users. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to communicate system updates, contribute to standard operating procedures, and analyze metrics to support organizational decision-making.
Clinical research experience is highly recommended, and familiarity with OnCore or other Clinical Trials Management Systems (CTMS) is preferred. This position requires the ability to teach individuals or groups ranging from 4 to 80 adults using creative and effective presentation skills.
