The Lower School division enrolls 360 students from Pre-First through fifth grade, organized into three homerooms of approximately 20 students at each grade level. This division is characterized by a joy in learning and discovery shared by both students and teachers. The curriculum is comprehensive and rigorous, focusing on core academic instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, and global studies. Teachers at this level are highly skilled in how children learn to read, write, and develop number sense while facilitating students' academic, emotional, and character development.
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic professionals for the Fall of 2026 to serve as Long-Term Substitutes covering grades Pre-First through Fifth. The ideal candidate is dedicated to teaching and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children. You will work within a collaborative setting, exhibiting good judgment and possessing excellent communication skills with students, parents, administrators, and faculty.
This role requires a wealth of patience, humor, energy, and creativity to reach every student. You will be part of a team that models and reinforces the Noble Knights Pillars of Character.
