This Education Support Professional (ESP) position is based at the Lebanon Education Center in Apple Valley, MN, within the Therapeutic Education Alternative (TEA) Program. You will work under the guidance of classroom teachers and program directors to support students in meeting their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals across educational, communication, emotional, physical, and behavioral domains.
In this team environment, you will work with students individually and in small groups, collaborating with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and mental health practitioners. Your role is to model and encourage respect, communication, and competency during student work tasks and socialization. Professionalism, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach are essential to ensure student safety, growth, and the ability to exhibit appropriate behaviors both at school and in the community.
