About the Role
As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will step into a classroom support role focused on K–12 students with special needs. Working closely with licensed teachers, your mission is to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You will provide tailored one-on-one and small group assistance aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Valid Educational Aide Permit. Experience working in special education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors. Experience with personal care tasks, like diapering and toileting. Experience handling unexpected behaviour, such as hitting and biting. Comfortable with eloping. Experience with behaviour strategies and methodologies. Experience in collecting data and following BI plan. Certification in CPR and First Aid.
