As an Assistant Coach in the intercollegiate Men's Basketball program, you will join a world-renowned institution where your work supports the mission of the university. This is a full-time, 12-month, recurring appointment based in Pittsburgh, PA. The role is designed for someone who shares our values and demonstrates a sincere interest in the personal, academic, and athletic progress of student-athletes.
You will work under the direction of the head coach to assist with the organization and implementation of daily practice sessions and games. Your day-to-day responsibilities include demonstrating competency in sport skill instruction, recruiting potential student-athletes, and supervising the basketball strength and conditioning program. Additionally, you will contribute to home event management, administrative duties, and teaching within the physical education program. Success in this role requires leadership ability, professional behavior, and the flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends.
