The Opportunity

PLA's Reading Interventionists are instrumental in increasing scholar motivation and supporting the educational growth of scholars throughout our schools. You will continually analyze scholar data to determine specific needs, then use scripted lesson plans to respond effectively. As a Reading Interventionist at Phalen Leadership Academies, you will work with varying groups and grade levels of scholars, rotating among classrooms to support literacy skills development.

The Campus

PLA @ Nixon School is located in Montgomery, AL. In 2021, with the support of the Montgomery Education Foundation and PLA, Nixon became a premier charter school in the area. We believe that every student is a scholar. With the right education, scholars can fulfill their tremendous innate potential and become leaders in their communities and the world. We work together with parents and the community to improve educational outcomes. PLA @ Nixon Elementary School exists to serve the local community and create a safe and thriving space for scholars to feel loved, empowered, and encouraged through quality education.

Requirements
