The Opto-Mechanical Assembly Department is dedicated to assembling optical and mechanical components to meet precise customer requirements. The department operates within a controlled clean room environment where the control of contaminants and particulates is critical to product quality.
As an Optical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for correctly following work instructions to assemble optics into housings on a production schedule. The role requires a detail-oriented approach to ensure assembly steps are performed correctly and consistently every time.

This position is designated as safety-sensitive. The work is performed primarily in a clean room environment, requiring the use of cleanroom-compatible overgarments (lab coat, gloves, hairnet, booties) and personal protective equipment. The environment involves moderate noise levels and requires the ability to see up close to check work quality. Employees must be able to handle parts, lift up to 10 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 25 pounds), and transport parts throughout the plant.
