As a Police Officer at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, you will serve as a vital guardian of our patients, staff, and visitors. Your primary purpose is to protect lives and property while enforcing laws and preventing crime within the medical center and assigned facilities. By maintaining a visible police presence, you establish a secure environment where exceptional care can thrive.
Your day involves responding to a variety of complaints and emergency calls, interviewing complainants, suspects, and victims, and making arrests or restraining suspects as required. Beyond law enforcement duties, you will intervene and counsel parties in disputes and assist medical staff whenever requested. Success in this role requires fostering effective working relationships with a broad network of stakeholders, including internal departments, local law enforcement agencies, and the community. You will act as a team builder, bringing a positive attitude that inspires others, while holding yourself accountable for optimum performance.
You will also champion Kettering Health's corporate values, representing the network with a professional attitude and appearance. Whether communicating with customers of varying cultures and backgrounds or collaborating with hospital administration to improve facility operations, you will ensure that safety and service remain at the forefront of every interaction.
