This temporary, full-time position serves as a critical link in New York State's Mitchell-Lama Occupied Apartment Inspections Program. The role is dedicated to ensuring community safety and compliance by conducting thorough inspections of occupied apartments and managing the associated administrative workflow.
You will be the primary point of contact for shareholders, responsible for scheduling appointments, following up on voicemails, and maintaining a consistent, professional manner during all community interactions. The position requires a keen eye for detail to identify violations based on established State of New York parameters, while upholding the highest standards of integrity in documenting conditions.
Your day-to-day activities will involve compiling inspection data, organizing violations, and producing comprehensive quarterly reports. You will also support building operations by updating the Keri System Software for parking lot changes, conducting periodic building walk-throughs, and assisting the Restoration Inspector with finals and restoration inspections.
