Registered Occupational Therapists (OTR) at Minds Matter, LLC play a pivotal role in helping individuals regain independence following brain injuries. Our approach focuses on the profound effects of injury on a person's social, emotional, and physiological well-being. You will partner with consumers to develop skilled therapy goals that address balance, motor skills, posture, and perceptual and cognitive abilities within the context of their everyday lives.
In this position, you will serve as a consumer's team lead, accountable for updating goal plans and leading team meetings. Your work involves integrating employment, educational, and independent living goals into therapy, while providing supervision to occupational therapy assistants. By offering creative solutions and compensatory techniques, you will help individuals navigate the consequences of their injuries and achieve greater autonomy in their daily activities.
