About the Role
Free Wheelchair Mission is seeking a Senior Medical Programs Manager who not only meets the professional requirements of the job but has a genuine interest in being part of an organization making a significant difference in the lives of individuals in need throughout the world.
This position serves as a vital support to the Programs department and our international distribution partners. The role focuses on managing and implementing the FWM Basic Wheelchair Training Program, developing new training initiatives, and providing strategic input on the Medical Gift‑In‑Kind program. The training program is designed to orient international distribution partners and end users on safe wheelchair fitting and appropriate use, ensuring quality, safety, and consistency in wheelchair provision.
Training is delivered through a hybrid model, including in-person international sessions as well as virtual formats such as live-remote and online training. You will work closely with Programs Directors, Manufacturing, and Finance departments. This role involves approximately 20% travel time internationally to support these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleEnsure the training team provides organized event reports using SharePoint, Excel, Salesforce, and Smartsheet
- check_circleProvide technical input for international distribution partner wheelchair and Medical Gift-In-Kind program strategies
- check_circleShare expertise with the Manufacturing department on impacts of design changes to training curriculum and safety
- check_circleOrganize and update training procedures, curriculum, and materials based on therapy knowledge
