Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDeliver specialized individual and group occupational therapy instruction per IEPs
- check_circleCollect data and complete reports regarding student goals and progress
- check_circleConsult with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive therapy team
- check_circleAssess and document student progress through formal and informal tests
- check_circleWrite and prepare annual review reports and goals in compliance with state guidelines
- check_circleProvide occupational therapy expertise when developing FBAs and BIPs
- check_circleProvide parent and caregiver support and education on student progress and strategies
- check_circleConduct screenings and evaluations to determine requirements for skilled intervention
- check_circleCoordinate and participate in training programs for students, staff, and families
- check_circleImplement treatment plans and programs focusing on functional and measurable outcomes
- check_circleAttend school-related meetings including Triennials, Annual Reviews, and IEP meetings
- check_circleSupervise COTAs in accordance with state practice act guidelines as needed
