About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at our Fargo facility, you will play a vital role in helping clients, patients, and residents develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform the tasks essential to their daily lives. You will assess functional, cognitive, and behavioral impairments to design personalized treatment plans that foster independence and improve quality of life.

Your day will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations, establishing realistic therapy goals, and administering appropriate interventions across a diverse range of ages and diagnoses. You will document progress in accordance with departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements, while incorporating current research into your daily practice. This role offers the opportunity to work in post-acute, long-term care, and home health environments, adapting to the unique needs of each setting.

Beyond direct patient care, you will serve as a resource for the team by providing ongoing education and training to peers. You may also supervise assistants, aides, and students, and collaborate with a broad network including providers, case managers, family members, and third-party payers. Flexibility is key, as you may be asked to accept variable work schedules and assignments to support the department's goals.
