About the Role
This position is designed to ensure the highest degree of quality care while providing essential therapy services to patients. As a key member of our clinical team, you will not only deliver direct patient care but also supervise therapy assistants in the performance of their duties. Your work will be guided by current federal, state, local standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring that every aspect of patient treatment meets the rigorous demands of our industry.
In this role, you will evaluate patient functional status, develop comprehensive treatment programs, and establish clear goals for improved function. You will collaborate closely with referring physicians and other professionals to coordinate care, while also instructing patients, families, and caregivers on treatment regimes and the use of adaptive equipment. Whether fabricating splints, training patients on prosthetic devices, or conducting work capacity evaluations for those returning to employment, your expertise will drive patient outcomes. Additionally, you will play a vital role in discharge planning and maintaining accurate clinical records to ensure seamless, efficient care delivery.
