Triangle ABA is a clinician-owned and operated organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate ABA services that empower children and families throughout North Carolina. Founded by clinicians for clinicians, we understand the nuances of the work and are committed to supporting our team on the ground. Our culture is built on growth, professionalism, and teamwork, ensuring that every member of our staff feels respected and valued.
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be more than just a provider; you will be a partner in helping children with autism thrive. You will conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address developmental delays and physical impairments.
Your day will involve collaborating with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child's progress. Whether providing therapy sessions in clinic, school, or telehealth settings, you will maintain accurate documentation and educate families on strategies to promote skill development and independence at home and in the community. You will work within a collaborative, positive, and mission-driven environment where your clinical expertise is the foundation of our success.
As a clinician-owned practice, not investor-run, we prioritize transparency, trust, and quality care. We offer a professional environment where you can grow into advanced roles through mentorship and continued learning. You will be part of a supportive team making a real difference every day, with the assurance that your work is respected by leaders who understand the clinical landscape.
If you are looking for more than just a job and want a role where you can grow, be supported, and help kids thrive, we invite you to apply. Become part of the Triangle ABA team today and start making an impact on the lives of children and families in North Carolina.

Every child deserves to build a life filled with confidence, purpose, and classroom readiness. Our approach in both of our Triangle ABA locations is designed to do just that by helping children with autism develop deep, lasting skills that extend far beyond the center. Founded and owned by Amber Nelms, a clinician and neurodivergent parent of a child with autism, this therapy is grounded in professional expertise and lived experience. After “discovering the transformative power of ABA” in her own journey, Amber set out to make that same life-changing support accessible to more families. Triangle ABA’s approach is personal, intentional, and built to challenge outdated, one-size-fits-all models of care. This is therapy that builds thinkers. Using the principles of ABA and Relational Frame Theory—a behavioral approach to how people learn language and meaning—sessions are structured to help children think flexibly, make strong connections, and respond with understanding. The goal is not compliance but the development of strong, adaptive learners who are prepared for the world around them. Families and caregivers are integral partners in this process, with ongoing, honest support designed to carry progress into daily life, schools, and communities. This work is driven by integrity, not outside investment or private equity. We’re committed to scaling with heart, growing with intention, and making decisions that support long-term success, strong relationships, and lasting outcomes. We believe in the same kind of growth for our staff, offering hands-on experience, training and mentorship, and opportunities to take on leadership roles and advance within the organization. We’re a team of thinkers, doers, and difference-makers who care deeply and want to evolve alongside the mission. This is a place where children learn to lead, families and caregivers are heard and supported, staff can refine their skills and drive progress, and meaningful change becomes possible.
