As an Occupational Therapist in Windsor & West Hartford, you will primarily provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. Whether in a patient's private residence or a room within an independent living facility, Powerback Rehabilitation To You allows you to evaluate and treat in the most functional environment possible. You will organize and conduct occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. Your goal is to facilitate the learning of skills essential for adaptation and productivity, helping to diminish or correct pathology.
This position offers a flexible schedule and work environment across various settings. You will serve as a vital link in the rehabilitation team, consulting with community physicians and other disciplines to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen. By putting patient service first, you will ensure that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes individual needs and rights.
