About the Role
Occupational Therapists at VNS Health help New Yorkers get back on their feet and out of the hospital so they can heal in their homes and communities. You will practice independently as part of an interdisciplinary care team, designing and delivering personalized 1:1 rehabilitative therapy programs for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or accident. By being a part of their day-to-day life, you can assess progress and constantly evaluate evolving patient needs to respond with plan of care adjustments. A valid driver's license is required for all areas outside the borough of Manhattan. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience or have successfully completed a probationary period as a VNS Health Rehab Intern.
